Members Area TOU These rules are set down to make things, hopefully as clear as possible. If you have questions regarding these rules, please email me. Do not assume that I mean something, as I will not accept that excuse. These rules are ones that I follow to make these graphics and uphold the artist's terms of use. They are also subject to change at any time I see fit. I recommend that you check them every now and then to make sure that there has not been a change to them. I also ask that you remember your manners. I will not tolerate rude people. If you want to be rude, well, I can too but would prefer not to have to. Please and Thank You are strongly suggested and also required, as I will be encouraging my nephew to use those very important words. 1. A website is not required for membership, but if you do have one or start one, please make sure that I know you have one as well as the address to it, so I can come visit!!! You will also be required to put your logo up on the site as well. 2. If you do have a website, it must be in English or there must be an English translation available, as that is the only language I speak fluently. I am learning "baby" again. I took Spanish and French while I was in school and college, however, that has been almost 20 years ago. My memory is pretty good, but not that good. 3. If you have a website, you must have the following three scripts on all of your pages. There are no ifs, ands, or buts about this requirement. If you do not have the scripts, email me or most anyone in the CGC, and we will gladly point you in the right direction. Here again, no excuses will be accepted. The three scripts that I require are: The No Right Click Script, The No Drag 'n' Drop Script, and The Disable Image Toolbar Script. These three scripts protect the graphics that I have made or used to produce my items. It also protects you from getting into trouble with me and potentially the artist whose work I may have used to create the graphics.. Without these scripts, you will be required to either add the scripts or you MUST remove the graphics until you do follow the terms. Dynamic Drive is a great place to find these scripts; however the No Drag 'n' Drop script is not on their site. I also use the No Select Text Script on my site as well. Email me if you need the No Drag 'n' Drop script mailed to you. 4. You must have a family-friendly site. If you have any kind of racism, hatred, bashing, filth, porn, trash, etc. on your site, do me a favor and don't waste mine and your time requesting my graphics-adoptions, memberships, or purchase-ware. I will not send graphics to anyone that promotes abuse of any type. I think abuse is a despicable act especially when directed towards a child, animal, an elderly person, or a person with handicaps-mentally or physically. If you agree with these actions, you had best move on somewhere else, as I will not hesitate to tell you my feelings toward the behavior that you condone. If I cannot sit in here and allow my niece or nephew to come in here while I am on your site, then you do not need to ask. I also do not tolerate religious intolerance, profanity, vulgarity of any type. If it is controversial, FORGET ASKING! 5. The graphics are to be used as decorations for your site and email. They are not to be shared in any groups. They are not to be claimed as "your own graphics". There is nothing worse than a liar to me, and I have nothing to hide when it comes to the graphics that I have on my site. I will tell you where the tubes & lineart come from, or if I have made them on my own. My memberships are where I have gotten these tubes, lineart, etc. from. You will find links at the bottom of each page of the places that the tubes or lineart may be from So, please check with those sites or ask me if there is something in particular that you would like to know. 6. You must use
a text link when using the sigtags in an email. If they are used on your
site I require a clickable link-preferably a logo like this 7. This is not one-stop shopping for graphics. These graphics are not public domain, and I have the permission of the artists to place them on my site and offer those that are in my pixel shop for sale. You may not use these to make any type of collections. If I find out that you are doing this, I will turn you over to the original artists, and they will be the ones to seek restitution for their broken graphics requirements. You may not use them to create sigtags, stationary (stats), or add something to it and call it "your own". That is a major NO, NO. NONE of my graphics-in PunkinDoodles Graphics are to be shared or distributed in any graphics groups, forums, etc. If someone besides yourself wants the graphics, THEY must get them from ME!!! If you are found guilty of doing any of this, your membership WILL BE TERMINATED IMMEDIATELY with NO REFUND!!! 8. My rules are fairly simple, but I am a stickler for those guidelines. When requesting your weekly tags, I require "Please" to be put in the section designated as "Magic Word". This will show me if you have read my terms or not. If it is not included, you will not be able to submit the form weekly. I am very serious about this: so please, put the required info in. Please note that even if you do not read the terms, you are still required to abide by them to the letter. There again, no excuses will be accepted. 9. When requesting tags from the member's area, I do ask that you be cordial. It is disheartening to see an email that only has your name and the ones that you want. All those orders lack is a grunt. I will only accept orders from Sunday (12am EST) to Thursday night (11:59pm EST). The rest of the week will be spent filling orders and creating so I can offer you more tags and other goodies. 10. My family and I come first. If I am unable to fill orders one week, I will make arrangements to either take care of orders through other means or I will add time to your membership, and for lifers you will get a special goody or two to make up for it, since I cannot add time to your membership. 11. You MUST be signed up for the updates group. you MUST keep your email addresses current. If you need to take a leave from email, you will need to contact me. There is not that much email going through this group, so I do not honestly think itis necessary to go no mail, unless there is a very good reason-ie sickness, death n the family, vacation, or computer problems. If your email status within the update group is found to be "No Mail" without having notified me, you face a possible membership suspension until your email status has been put back to regular email delivery. This group it going to be the only way that you will get updates beyond coming to the site. As far as your email address goes, it is up to you to notify me of a change. I am not going to hunt you down. 12. Finally, I hope that you enjoy your time here with me. I am so very tickled and thankful to have you here as a member. I don't mean to be so demanding, but I am looking out for me, you & the other artists in the country graphics community. I have made a lot of wonderful friends and Sisters here. I refuse to let them down by not requiring the adherence to my rules as well as theirs. Thanks again, & I look forward to working with you!!! Lots
